Our Solution To Future Change

World Hope Bible Institute has developed a curriculum that we take directly to pastors in remote or underserved areas. This means they can still maintain their ministries and jobs while completing essential theological training. They pass on that teaching to their congregations, fostering healthy Great Commission churches. We identify the location, schedule the classes, and provide the curriculum. WHBI recruits trained pastors to go and teach in a one-week intensive format.
WHBI courses are written by qualified pastors and seminary professors, providing both a student’s outline and instructor’s notes. The curriculum includes 16 classes. 12 are core classes, required for all students, including subjects such as Doctrine of Salvation, Biblical Interpretation, Introduction to Old Testament, Theology of Worship, and Missions and Evangelism. The other four classes are chosen based on the particular needs of the culture and location. Students who complete all 16 classes may choose to submit a thesis leading to a Diploma in Ministry. The curriculum was highly successful during its field tests in Kenya, Ecuador, Honduras, and inner-city Houston.

Pastors who teach also benefit greatly, realizing they are multiplying the investment others made in them. They avoid the sin of the servant who buried his talent (Matthew 25:14-30). Instead, they take the riches of education and experience and invest it into others, multiplying the return for the Master. As they head back to their home fields of ministry, the memory and love for newfound brothers and sisters remains as does the impact—a commitment to make much out of their own relative abundance.

WHBI is currently working to open new cycles in Africa, Central America, South America and the South Pacific region. Our connections to the rest of the world are broad, providing the potential for hundreds of opportunities in the next five years.
