Tuesday, the team drove up into the mountains near Mozambique to meet with a group of pastors that had gathered to hear about the Bible Institute. It was a very successful meeting ending with 2 potential locations near Mozambique and 1 potential location within Mozambique. There would be hundreds of pastors in these locations who would receive training they are unable to receive otherwise. It was definitely orchestrated by God. Wednesday, 2/29 Pray as the team leads this very important conference in Polokwane, letting the surrounding pastors know who they are and what they have to offer them. Pray that the Spirit will move in the hearts of these pastors and leaders, giving them vision of what WHBI is offering them at no charge: seminary-trained US pastors, taking time out of their very busy schedules, to go over and lead seminary-style classes, helping to lay a solid theological foundation.

From a retreat center outside of Gweru, Zimbabwe… In a historic meeting, representatives from several Baptist groups met to consider inviting WHBI to provide theological education for pastors who have no other option. The meeting concluded with leadership from all groups electing to use the Diploma in Ministry from the World Hope Bible Institute to satisfy the basic educational requirements for ordination. Pray for travel mercy as they then make their way to Polokwane to prepare for a Pre-Registration Pastors’ Conference the following day. Pray for pastors to respond to the Holy Spirit’s prompting to attend this crucial conference.

Monday, 2/27 Pray as the team meets with the leaders of Gweru, Zimbabwe, to discuss location possibilities for the WHBI classes to be taught to surrounding pastors and leaders. Pray for “unity” as details are worked out. The team will then travel on to Johannesburg for a one-night layover.
